my eldest 6 yrs old started at n1 at the Berries Toa Payoh Branch. And now he has been with them for 4 years . It is not a parent accompanied program as I do not know the flow of the class. Coming from a family with little Chinese background, he has done exceptionally well in Chinese . Sometimes I feel his Chinese is even better than English ! I am very happy with the Center and its approach. His sister 4 now who has been with them 2 year has also improve by leap n bounds and my 2 year old will be joining them next year when he goes n1.

My boy has been with berries since he's 3 but I stopped him for a year when we relocated oversea due to my job. He's really weak in Chinese after we moved back to Singapore after a year and we enrolled him back to berries. He was unable to read and write when we return to Singapore and only after 3-4 lessons he begins to read books and chart by himself. The teacher was supportive and encouraging which is the reason why my boy enjoyed himself so much. The lesson was conducted in a stress free and interesting way! I love the card reader which they would be given after every lesson as its good for revision at home.

both my sons are enrolled in berries once they turned 3.i think my kids do pick up the language quickly though they are still not recongising the characters which the school emphasises

I enrolled my daughter in the Berries class for a year already and i can see she enjoys the lessons every week. The teachers make it fun and enjoyable for the kids ( abt 10 kids in a class ) through singing and story-telling too. Every week, my daughter comes back with some art & craft or some toy wtith the " word for the week". That''s one of the ways the teachers make it visual and memorable for the kids in learning mandarin. I can see that my girl is more confident in listening and speaking mandarin than before she attended the class. Now she thinks learning mandarin is FUN !

Enrolled my daughter for the N1 class with Berries recently. I would recommend this class for parents who are looking for Chinese enrichment classes for their little ones. I can see a vast improvement in her language ability even after afew lessons. What I like about this class is that you are able to observe your child's behavior through a CCTV. Something different from the rest of the other classes. Last but not least, I like their materials a lot, especially the reading chart.
