While babies may not possess the motor skills to actually swim, baby swimming lessons can help teach your infant to have fun and be comfortable in water so they do not have a phobia of water or swimming pools. For your baby to undergo swimming lessons, your child should be at least 5 to 6 months old so their immune system can be adequately developed. We will focus on a variety of aspects, including helping your baby kick to the surface, teaching them to hold their breath under water, assist them to float on their backs and develop a new found confidence when in the water. All lessons are taught in a gentle manner and while the focus is ultimately on teaching your baby the essential skills, we make sure the whole process still stays fun and enjoyable for all.
