Junior.com is a new initiative that provides free computers and a starter kit for preschoolers aged 4 to 6 years from low income families. This programme aims to equip preschoolers with literacy and numeracy skills in a fun, creative way through the use of IT, so that they are not at a disadvantage when they begin pre-school /primary school. Free IT training is also provided for parents and children. To apply, the applicant s children must be between the ages of 4 to 6 years and from a low-income family that does not own a computer.
