Along with The Little Things' trained facilitators, children take on a real kitchen, complete with real tasks! In our weekly sessions, children take on a variety of experiences and challenges such as meal-planning, food preparation, food cultures, etiquette, home-science experiments, home-crafts, presentations, and even team projects for the community!

Tried their trial class and was surprised that it is more than just cooking. The best part of such cooking classes is the opportunity to see your child being independent and able to cook/bake delicious food themselves and the chance to have a taste of their food. I like it that the program is more than just cooking lessons, they require every child to also write a simple journal about their lesson for the day which includes the title of the dish, the type of ingredients and equipment used. There will also be art and craft, simple science experiments and excursions every term. The class is also non-parent accompanied with 2 teachers present in the class. The teacher will also sometimes take photos of my child and send to me. This is really thoughtful.
