I am glad to attend Abrakadoodle's classes ! First, they sing song to ease the kids's anxiety , guiding them to sit in circle and introducing themselves in the welcome song. Every week, there is a different art book , teaching different art stroke and history behind each art piece. Every child is allow to express themselves thru their own presentation and colours. The teachers are patient and encourage confident and creativity in every lesson. Parents get to accompany and learn about own kid and how they express too. After completion, kids will clean up their own work station and each kid is allowed to present their own art piece. For young kids, the teachers will probe with questions to guide along, building confident level is greatly increased with better self expressive skills. Class ends with singing and a sticker as reward to each child. It is an interesting approach to arts and creativity.and truly lots of fun and learning thru play.

I registered my 4 yo LO into the 1 week holiday program. Initially I was a little taken aback as there was only 2 students including my LO in the class. It was 3 hourly class per day for 1 week. There is a theme for the holiday program. The material used was canvas art. The teacher looked young but very experienced. She guided my LO and introduce the basic of painting to her. The small # of participant in class in fact was good, as the teachers can focus more on guiding them. The teacher even introduce various artist and their style into their art work project. At the end of the 1 week (5 days) program, there was a mini presentation where my LO has to present to the parents and students their projects for the entire week. We brought back 6 canvas and a happy little creative mentality home at the end of the program. Will strongly recommend this program.
