aikiForest is the brainchild of passionate individuals who practice Aikido as a way of life and believe that Aikido has to be shared with more people beyond the dojo (place of training) so that more can benefit. Aikido is creatively re-interpreted from its traditional format, making it contemporary and inspiring for children. Our mission is to seed in the hearts and minds of children, a genuine love for Aikido, creating a positive ripple effect in and beyond their community. aikiForest is an affiliate of Aikido Shinju-kai (officially recognised by the Aikido World Headquarters), with Philip Lee Sensei (6th Dan), Chief Instructor of Aikido Shinju-kai, as our Technical Director. aikiForest is a member of the Le-SOUL Strategic Alliance Group, a committee of education and training experts dedicated to transforming children, parents, and educators by adopting proven and effective educational technologies and principles.
