My dragon daughter has been with teacher Yani and teacher Liz since she was 23 mth old. As a 37 mth old, we had gone through the 26 alphabets umpteen times but we still looked forward to every classes cos the craft times has never been repeated and we love the drama session when teacher Yani and now teacher sila acted an occupation coinciding with the letter of the week.. It is bitter sweet that in another 3,moths time, we have to leave our beloved teacher and embarking on the next chapter of my daughter's life. This is like our second home and with sweet memories and the sweet sounding phonics songs, goodbye song, "I am special " song, we end our journey with Bibinogs.

My gal has been attending this program since she was 21 months. Wished I had sent her there earlier. She's now 27 months and I strongly believe that she has truly benefited from this program. Each session starts out with a 15 mins self play followed by another 15 mins of mandarin and an hour of English. It's quite a comprehensive session whereby phonics is being introduced, singing of songs, art and craft session, story telling and the kids favorite snack time. I attended a few trials at other centers and I feel this is one of the more affordable and beneficial program around.

Attended a trial class with my 17 months old as the younger classes are mostly fully booked in the mornings. We had so much fun for that 90 mins! It started with a 15 mins Chinese session with Wu Laoshi and her assistant Xiang Laoshi. Both are native speakers and Wu laoshi is very entertaining and engaging. Then teacher Yani took over for the English part and she is as good. There were Phonics lesson, numbering, song and story telling sessions and alittle art and craft too. The whole 90min was packed with engaging and educational activities. The branch at Serene Centre looks small from the outside hence I did not have much expectations at first, but inside was warm, bright, lively with a little playroom full of toys, slide and playhouse which my girl loves it so much that she did not want to go home. I find the fees very affordable too, I think it's less then $50/lesson (weekdays) if book for a term. And best of all, they are flexible if you only want to book short term (only 3 lessons a time) which you pay alittle more. Works for me as I do not know my full work schedule yet. Will be trying their Mandarin Babes next week to see if the age group fits my girl better before deciding which one to sign up for.
