Activities conducted are usually aimed at brain development. For example, they will have obstacle course where he will have to move up and down, around, across or through them. This I would say helps with gross motor skills. Activities like throwing of balls into net will helps with his hand and eye co-ordination. The good thing is they also include phonics and music and movement as part of their program. The more challenging part I would say is the child's ability to remember patterns and then allowing the kids to follow the same pattern. This is a parent accompanied class and so its a good gauge of how my son has progressed through each lesson.
Attended one of their free workshop and after listening to what the founder has to say, I decided to enroll my son for the Junior Program. We will need to pay for an assessment test which is not cheap $250 but it is reimbursed to us if we signed up for the program. Its an 1 hour assessment to determine the different results on the 5 core areas like visual, motor skills, memory and attention span, social skills Although the test was expensive, the results are rather accurate and useful as it shows the strength and weakness of my son. And then we can really try to focus more on his weakness and improve on it. It is a 90 min class and not parent accompanied session. They will conduct 2 activities for each of the 5 core pillars in each class. Activities include things like throw and catch, balancing, handwriting, threading beads, computer, patterning, So far seen abit of improvement in terms of listening to instructions and better attention span.
