Learning Time With Timmy (Nursery 1 and Nursery 2)
The British Council's early years specialists have designed Learning Time with Timmy to be fun and engaging for your child. Our approach to learning teaches your child English skills while nurturing their creativity, critical thinking and social skills. It helps them develop communication skills and good pronunciation while boosting their self-confidence. We have partnered with Aardman animation studios because the stories of their world-famous character Timmy, star of Timmy Time, enable your child to learn new vocabulary and grammar in context. Timmy and his friends will capture your child’s imagination. This connection deepens their engagement in the learning process. Improve your child's learning with our world of English expertise.

My child has been attended their Learning Time with Timmy lesson! It really helps him to read better and able to pronounce each word more accurately too. No doubt it is British Council which is known for their English Language classes. Lessons were fun and engaging. It makes me consider whether to sign up for their adult lesson as well since my English is not proficient enough. All in all, I have no regrets since the teachers were more professional than me. I believe my child will benefit from there especially when he enters Primary School in a few years time. Professional, Engaging and Result-Oriented!
For each term, there will be specific themes e.g. for this term, its on animals. British council adopts the Jolly Phonics system and each week my daughter will learn about 2 to 3 letters or letter combinations such as "ap", "ag" etc. There is about 8 students in the class with 1 teacher and another assistant teacher. The teachers at British council are usually native speaking. There is homework each week but its only 1 or 2 worksheets. No spelling yet for K1 but heard that there will be weekly spelling starting from K2. Every kid will be assigned a week for show and tell time and we are expected to prepare our kids for this. My daughter has yet learn to read a book on her own but hopefully soon after mastering phonics first.
