Mini Red 3-6 year olds: The first stage of the internationally acclaimed LTA mini tennis program and is very important for building the core skills and confidence of the young mini tennis player. The emphasis is on movement, balance and coordination, and an introduction to simple rallying and playing the game. Once they are capable of rallying for 15 shots, scoring and serving under-arm, children will advance to the mini orange level. Mini Orange 7-8 year olds: This introduces children to playing tennis on a 3/4 length court with a special low bounce bright orange mini tennis ball. This slows the game down to give the player time to learn good basic tennis shots and have maximum fun playing the game! Matches are played in best of 3 tie-breaks to 7 points which will continually improve the child s mental and competitive skills. Duration is 45 minutes to 1 hour. Fee ranges from $240 - $325.
