Music for Little Mozarts
A piano, music and movement curriculum specially designed by Dr. E. L. Lancaster for age 3_ to 5 years old. This is an imaginative and enjoyable learning experience through the musical adventures of Beethoven Bear, Mozart Mouse and their friends, using a comprehensive approach that brings out the music in every child. Mini-Recitals and Graduation Concert will be organised for each level. With integrated performances and recital-style assessments, children are encouraged to be comfortable with their individual abilities, have fun and perform their best, all whilst being assessed.

My boy is with Cristofori now. I like it as there's always a recap on the learning process which it allows me to learn as well. As the age of 4 years old, I think this is good for him to have a taste of how it feels like to play piano. If he really has interest in piano, then I would probably engage a home tutor for him. Furthermore, in any case if you feel that the appointed teacher is not up to satisfactory, you could actually request to change the teacher. So far, my boy’s teacher is friendly and patient. (:
My son is currently with Cristofori at Simei branch. He has joined since he was 4 years old in the music appreciation group class. Unlike other music schools like Yamaha, this is not parent accompanied. However, at the end of each lesson, the teacher will go through with parents on what has been taught and write them down. They teach children the notes in a fun way and will get them to recognise the notes and symbols as part of their theory knowledge. Now that my son is 5 years old, he is moving on to individual piano class which is 30 mins. Compared to Yamaha, individual piano class only start at 6 years old. At the end of each class, the teacher will update on the communication book on which pieces to practice at home and there will be some homework to complete as well.
