Swimming is a survival skill that I want my son to learn and possess. Went to Queenstown swimming complex and was amazed that some very young toddlers are already attending swimming classes. Thus, I went to check it out with the swimming instructor and decided to give my son a try. So far he had gone for a couple of lessons and each lesson is about 30 mins. We are also encouraged to accompany him for the first few lessons to encourage him and to also know how the lessons will be conducted. The instructor makes the lesson fun with easy to understand instructors and creative teaching methods like getting them to catch something from inside the pool, kicking their legs in the water. The downside is that it is not indoor and so its really depends a lot on the weather, However, the instructor is nice enough to send text messages for any class cancellations.
