Thinking and Creative Skills (3.5-4.5 years)
The Thinking and Creative Skills (TCS) course is designed to stimulate the imagination and develop problem-solving skills using language. It also encourages cognitive growth through oral presentation, dramatic play, introduction to phonology (an early literacy prerequisite for learning to read) and appreciation of story. Some activities will focus on fine motor skills development, memory development, spatial skills, sequencing skills and social skills. The student uses a Thinking and Creative Skills workbook. The TCS class is for 1.5 hours, once a week. Age range is approximately from 3.5 years to 4.5 years.
