I have enrolled my boy to the i can read lessons for more than 4 months but i did not see any improvement. I have tried to check with the teacher for more details but he mentioned that my boy is doing well. I'm giving 2 more months to see if there's any more improvement as I really hope the center/teacher is able to help on my boy English as he’s still unable to do word blending for now. My boy do look forward to the class as he mention there are card games, storytelling and role play which he really likes.
Im very please and also never regret to send my boy last year to learn this english tuition class. As at today, he can breakup those english words into parts and try to figure out and pronounce it and read it correctly. At home, he tends to teach his younger brother sometimes too. Before he attend the english classes i can read, he only speaks chinese and Hokkien at home, now he will try to communicate in english with us at home too. Can feel that his english did improve alot and im glad he enjoys going for the classes and come back home happily and telling what he had learn for the day.
My boy have just joined the lesson in June. The lessons was interesting and fun as told by my child. He mention they play with cards to learn about the phonics sound. I'm not quite sure about how's the progress for my boy as I did not have a chance to catch the teacher to find out more. But they do have a list and homework every week. He's still at single vowels on the book. The class group is kept at maximum of 8 kids. I would appreciate if the teacher could update us more on the progress of my child.
Started my daughter with ICR programme and we can see improvement in her phonics. The class is good because they are required to speak infront of the class on a topic and this would help to boost her confidence. I can see that she likes the class and always looking forward to the class every Sunday. Will recommend to other parents to enrol their children.
