Students grounded in the skills of performance are better able to express themselves creatively and confidently. In this course students will learn the basics of acting through a series of exercises designed to ground them in the foundations of acting and performance. Basics such as improvisational skills, self confidence, good stage habits, various voice works, physical expressions etc.They will also learn how to interpret and express a given text thru monologues and group scenes and the course will lead up to either a group presentation or a solo monologue performance.
