BroadwayKids - Understanding Musical Theater is a program introducing students to musical theater. They will be taught to understand and appreciate both the performance aspects that requires singing, dancing and acting skills as well as the backstage roles of the production crew. They will be introduced to classic Broadway musicals as well as the contemporary ones through video screenings. They will be brought out on an excursion to visit a theater backstage to experience the workings of a production. The students will be given roles as a project to produce one production number.
