Giving Your Child A Headstart The P1 Headstart Programme continues from the Read For Success Programme and gives pre-primary students a headstart in their first year in the primary schools through basic grammar awareness, reading comprehension and simple cloze passage exercises. Students are also introduced to basic story writing skills.

My friend recommended me to enroll my child for their read for success program when he is in K1. This year he has progressed on to P1 headstart program for K2 where he is currently doing more writing and focusing on other areas other than phonics i.e. grammar, comprehension, cloze passage and writing of composition in simple short sentences first. He looks forward to going to class every week and I do appreciate his teacher giving me feedback on his progress and tips on how I can help to improve on those areas.
