This is a review for Dance With Me class. My girl is 3 years old and loves it very much. We go to the Delfi Orchard Branch, the location is convenient and they have weekday class that suits us. Class structure: In 30 mins (individual) or one hour (group) drop off session, the kids started with warming up, then learning some steps of feet and hands movement. In between next steps, the teacher gave activities like playing with the maracas, bells, and drumsticks to learn about beat in the music. At the end of the session, they will able to do the dance routine for a whole song. My girl can burn her energy while making new friends, expand her knowledge about music and dance and to focus with the teacher's instruction (which is very hard to do) The teacher is lovely, patient with kids, and you can see her passion of dancing. Our first class was Hiphop dance, which was fun and cool. Second class was ballet, that my daughter learned a lot about listening to command and sense of direction. We are excited for the next class awaited! Tips: You can ask the teacher/admin, and other parents in your class to try out some of the dance type they have (ballet, jazz, hiphop, kpop, latin, etc), before you/your kid continue with one of the dance program she liked.
It depends on the teacher a lot to enforce the learning in magic fiddlers. We have tried several centers and magic fiddler has the best curriculum among all for kids younger than 3 years old. But the teacher's turn over rate is too high. We have to stop sending our daughter after switch 2 teachers.
