My English Foundation
In My English Foundation Class, your child will gain the skills needed to progress to a complete phonics program while building expressive, listening and social skills. In this class, there is a stronger focus on each child s individual articulation. The goal is for the child to become familiar with the entire possible range of English sounds in isolation and in combination with other word sounds. Each child must learn how to distinguish and reproduce the initial consonant or vowel sound of a comprehensive selection of objects and people.

Took my 3 years old boy for this trial class about 2 mths ago as I think such lessons can help in his speech delay and shy character. Even though I couldn't sit in, I can see he enjoys his 1.5hrs class a lot. I believe the teacher is a local and a school teacher. Based on the last few lessons, the kids will learn a new song each week(Ten little fingers etc), alphabet of the week and the related phonics sounds, words that start with that alphabet and some activities that promote fine motor skills. I think they also encourage the kids to read and speak up during lessons. During the parent teacher meeting recently, she also let me know that promotion to the higher level classes are not based on age and rather by their learning ability.
