Preschool Math
We aspire to be a trusted partner to parents in the development of their child’s cognitive skills at an early age. Driven by the effective and perfect balance between purposeful play and structured academic practices, our curriculum provides pre-schoolers with enjoyable lessons for learning Math fundamentals. One of the key principles behind our unique curriculum is the Concrete-Pictorial-Abstract (CPA) approach to foster a deeper understanding of Math concepts in a nurturing environment. - CONCRETE REPRESENTATION: Manipulatives are used to stimulate thinking and to introduce concepts to the students - PICTORIAL REPRESENTATION: After students have grasped the concepts presented via tangible materials, they will then be able to recognize the same idea through pictures - ABSTRACT REPRESENTATION: At this stage, students would have fully understood the concept and are able to represent problems using mathematical symbols and numbers.

I like this program as it encourages learning through use of different creative games. I believe that children at a young age learn much better when it is fun and that they are involved more in the learning process. Different manipulative are used e.g. counters, number cards, puzzles These teaching methods also help to improve the attention span of my son in class. The teachers are also very patient in explaining the fundamental concepts. I can see that he is much more interested in Math and is more willing to really think into getting the math questions right.
