Upbeat Class extends the boundaries of traditional school music by placing greater emphasis on improvisation, creating and writing music. This program provides clear, simple and engaging activities which meet all needs in music literacy. Students learn by listening critically, by performing with skills and knowledge and, importantly, creating and performing their own music. This program also includes learning basic music theory through an age appropriate lessons and actual playing with keyboard.
