I have no idea what Steam Education was about until I got to meet The Plei Academy at one of the event. It happens to be the "in" thing right now for young children. My son loves the Kibo alot. The teacher will first introduce the different blocks with bar code scan on them. Each block represents a different action and the children are required to sequence them properly so that the Kibo can function correctly. Once the sequence is determined, they will then need to scan it. So this is like programming without the need for complicated commands. The fun part comes when trying to test the Kibo - whether it functions as expected. Usually multiple times will be required and this requires logical thinking and trial and error. This is a program that is new and interesting to try.
