My daughter really loves her art classes and always look forward to it every week to creating something new. The school encourages small class sizes and maximum of 8 students in her class. Currently there is 5 of them including my girl. She's now 4 weeks into Art Alive is loving it a lot. There is different theme for each term e.g. Theme on Plants will be on seeds, germination, forest and decaying trees. These are all nicely outlined in a lesson plan so that parents know what their kids are being taught. It will also indicate the type of medium used in creating the art e.g. oil pastels, water color pencils, characol or mixture The teacher will take out photos of plants with seeds and explain to them. I find this rather interesting as it not only teaches the child art but also provide them knowledge on other things as well. Next the teacher will then explain to the class what needs to be done for today. The art pieces are usually returned to us the following lesson. Their fees are also quite reasonable with material fees already included. They also do offer holiday programs for kids to explore and see if they have that interest.
