Have been trying to look for yoga classes for my child but most yoga class are for children usually starting 7 years and above. Finally found one called YogaBugs that caters for my daughter who is 3 years old. I thought that Yoga would be beneficial to her in terms of fitness, focus and calmness. Not only does the class teaches the basic yoga poses which the children can all follow easily, they even renamed those poses to be associated with animals like lion, kangaroo, snake, monkeys etc. There is a lot of story telling , music, action songs as the teacher taught the different yoga poses. At the end of the class, there is a cool down session which is rather relaxed. More or less the yoga class is similar to the more popular music and movement class just that this incorporates yoga poses.
